Algeria’s 8th International Telecommunications and Information Technology Exhibition and Conference alger telecom & Djaz.IT, originally scheduled to take place from 12 to 15 October 2008 at the Palais des Expositions in Algiers, has now been postponed to October 13 to 16, 2009. The reason for the postponement lies in the insufficient number of bookings for this year’s event. This has been agreed between the Algerian Ministry of Posts and Information and Communications Technology as the official supporting authority, the operator Algérie Télécom, and the organisers fairtrade in order to safeguard the interests of the exhibitors and the image of the event. In order to successfully relaunch alger telecom & Djaz.IT, which has been the leading ICT exhibition and conference in Algeria ever since its first inception in the year 2001, the organisers fairtrade, in cooperation with a leading multi-national PR consultancy firm, will conduct a study among the most important players in the Algerian ICT market. The results of the study together with the new concept for alger telecom & Djaz.IT will be published by early 2009. |
